Broadcast “Queer Ancestors”

The Broadcast “Queer Ancestors” is the result of researching lost ancestral voices of queer American and German Musicians in the 1920s-1930s.
For the voices to be more audible I remastered each song and through convulsion reverb, situated the musicians back into places they lived and worked in (Chicago, Vienna, New York, Berlin, etc.) or placed them in venues they didn’t have access to, during their lifetime (Concert Halls, Opera Houses, etc.)
Come along on this journey through the past 100 years of LGBTQIA+ History!

“Queer Ancestors” also has been broadcast with “Campus Radio Kassel“on 7th June 2020, with “Freies Radio Kassel” on 28th June 2020 for Pride Month 2020, as well as “R:ADIO R:EIN” on 17th July 2020.
